Yes, we are a medially licensed practice and we are able to provide Wellness exams for both males and females.

Yes, we have patients who come to us only for functional medicine consults and specialized testing. We provide support on their health journey in preventative medicine.

We accept Blue Cross PPO, Tricare, and Medicare insurance.

Depending on the insurance plan, you may only have a co-pay or be responsible for a deductible during the time of your visit.

If you have not met your deductible for the year, the following estimated payment will be required at the time of service

In general, basic/routine lab testing that is recommended to diagnose or monitor for medical conditions is covered by your insurance. 

In addition, to ensure coverage, we utilize Quest Diagnostic Laboratory which is in-network service provider with most health insurance plans. 

However, some insurance plans have deductibles that have to be met before lab tests are covered. To find out if you have a Deductible please contact your insurance company 

For the labs that are not covered, we offer competitive CASH prices with our lab partners.

Specialized functional tests such as stool and gut function analysis, food sensitivities, and nutrient, mold, and toxin tests are generally not covered by insurance. We work closely with these specialized companies to offer you the best price and provide upfront transparency as to what the max cost could be.

No, you do not. Your care plan is individualized to your specific needs and our first line of approach is always lifestyle modification through diet, exercise, meditation, and stress management. If we are unable to achieve it through conservative means it will be between you and your provider to decide what is the next best approach.

Yes, you can. We have added a Non-emergent Digital care platform service called “SPRUCE health” to allow our patients to communicate with us between visits.

Spruce health is HIPPA compliant which means your communication is encrypted and secure the benefits

  • Direct communication with your medical provider as well as Dr. Sayana
  • unlimited messaging between appointments unless your provider determines that a visit is needed
  • Be seen quicker because it has been determined that you need a visit

It is easy to join Spruce health messaging. It is a month-to-month fee of $65 so feel free to hop on and off the service.
